Danica Patrick and Green Bay Packers star Aaron Rodgers dated for more than a year. Their romance was so intense at one point that marriage seemed inevitable.
Unfortunately, the pair ended up splitting in 2020 under shady circumstances that may or may not have involved a Hollywood actress.
In the years since, both Rodgers and Woodley moved on to new partners – but they remained linked in the public sphere. Patrick’s social media posts, in particular, have often been in some way connected to whatever Rodgers is up to at the moment.
It was more of the same this week.
On the heels of SideAction breaking that Rodgers is possibly dating a witch, Patrick decided to come out as a self-professed hippie on social media:
It’s hard not to see similarities between Patrick’s new personality turn and the way Rodgers’ purported new lady pal has branded herself:
Oh boy… Apperantly Aaron Rodgers has a new girlfriend and her name is Blu of Earth. Yes you read that right. She claims that she is a witch and medicine woman. She is a interesting character to say the least. pic.twitter.com/Qmnw1hNxfK

Obviously this could all be unrelated, but there’s a reason folks are making the connection. The timing is a bit odd and the vibe is interesting.
Now, to be clear — Rodgers’ purported special new lady friend has recently come out and publicly claimed she is not a witch. But any time you’re having to fend off witch allegations in the first place, it’s telling.
In any case, clearly Rodgers and Patrick are both doing their best to move on. Hopefully as time goes on, they’ll be able to do so.
Patrick is inarguably the most successful female to ever take part in open-wheel racing. Rodgers is a multiple time MVP, Super Bowl champion, surefire future Hall of Famer. They have done enough to not be linked together in perpetuity.
Will they finally stopped getting associated by the media and fans as more and more time passes since their separation?
Time will tell.
