Joe Rogan has become one of the most famous men on the planet of late – whether or not one has heard of him through MMA channels doesn’t factor into the massive popularity of his podcast. Other than his MMA knowledge and his podcast, Rogan is also known for his impressive physique. But many have questioned if such a build is possible at the age of 56. That too without steroids?
Well, the answer is short and simple – in the past, Joe Rogan has used steroids. However that being said, he is now on cycles of Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) and low doses of Human Growth Hormone (HGH). However, these are not taken with the aim to bulk up, but, in fact, to somewhat arrest the natural ageing process.
On a podcast with comedian Andrew Schulz, he spoke about “everything’’ he takes –

Rogan also is a firm practitioner of natural supplements, including Omega 3 Fish Oil and a wide range of nootropics.

Although Rogan has largely been able to retain muscle through exercise, he also credits a lot of it to the supplements that he takes. That being said, for the average viewer of his podcast, it might be expensive to stock up on all these consumables.
Hence, in that very podcast with Schulz, he spoke about how going to the gym regularly is the number one recipe to combat ageing. The commentator gave special emphasis on strength training through lifting weights. He advocated conditioning one’s body to lift heavy in order to thrive.
And, what makes Joe Rogan even more endearing to fans is the fact that added to him being open about alternative treatments for body optimization, he encourages others to be open about it as well. As such, Rogan called out The Rock and the Liver King for hiding their steroid usage. The latter was recently exposed for lying, and Rogan’s previous prediction of it turned out to be true.
