Justin Fields’ girlfriend, Gianna Carmona, found herself trending this week ahead of her beau’s Thursday Night Football match-up against the Washington Commanders.
During the offseason, many hyped Chicago as a potential dark horse contender to win the NFC North.
On paper, it made sense. Fields taking the leap and improving as a passer seemed inevitable. And Aaron Rodgers’ departure, coupled with how flukey the Minnesota Vikings’ 2022 campaign felt, left the division ripe for the takeover.
Unfortunately, it just didn’t work out that way. Chicago came in Thursday’s battle against the Commanders winless and looking like one of the NFL’s worst teams.
Fields, similarly, appears dejected every time he speaks to the media. The Bears’ woes seem to slowly be breaking him mentally.
It isn’t all bad news for the former Ohio State star, though. Although his professional life isn’t going as planned, things seem to be going swimmingly for him from a personal perspective.
By all accounts, Fields and Carmona seem to be in a good place. Aside from one blip on the radar when the Bears quarterback was seemingly spotted having a crazy weekend fling with a model, he and Carmona appear solid.
Carmona, obviously, has a certain knack for generating headlines as well. Her wild photos from a while back definitely left an impression.
Big picture, Fields’ love life notwithstanding, the coming weeks will tell us a lot about his Bears future. It is the Commanders on Thursday, then the Vikings, Las Vegas Raiders, Los Angeles Chargers, New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers on deck.

If Chicago can figure things out even a little, going 6-0 or 5-1 over the next month and a half isn’t that crazy given the level of competition ahead. And frankly, aside from a wily Detroit Lions squad coming to town on Dec. 10, the Bears’ schedule for the rest of the season looks super light.
Getting off to an 0-4 start isn’t great, but if ever there was a second half schedule that would allow a team to bounce back from it, this is the one.
Will Fields be able to get the Bears back on track? Will Carmona show up to support him as the season chugs along? An answer to both of those questions will reveal itself in the weeks ahead.
