Mauro Icardis step-daughter reveals she loves the Galatasaray striker more than Wanda Nara
Mauro Icardi and Wanda Nara, the controversial couple who split back in 2022, continue to be in the spotlight, months after they parted ways. In a recent video, Wanda Nara and Francesca, their 8-year-old daughter appear as Wanda asked whom she loved more. Francesca then answered her question, saying, “my father.”
The ex-couple split back in September 2022, as Wanda announced their separation on Instagram. “It is very painful for me to live this moment,” Wanda claimed on her Instagram story. “But given my exposure and the things that are transcending and the media speculation, it is preferable that they know about it from me.” stated, referring to her children.
“I have nothing more to clarify and I am not going to give any kind of detail about this separation. Please, I ask that you understand not only for me, but also for our children.” Wanda, who was Mauro Icardi’s former agent as well, stated.

Argentine striker Mauro Icardi, who plays for Süper Lig club Galatasaray, has one of the most dramatic relationships in football history. Wanda Nara, his ex-wife was previously married to Mauro’s former teammate in the Argentina national team Maxi Lopez. Lopez accused Wanda of cheating on him with Mauro Icardi, eventually divorcing in 2013. The Argentine beauty dated Mauro Icardi for about a year and married him in 2014. The pair had two children, Francesca and Isabella Icardi.
Their relationship took a dark turn when Mauro Icardi was accused of being ‘caught in a hotel with another woman.’ Things started going downhill from there, with the ex-couple throwing public accusations against each other, and finally splitting in September 2022. Wanda later revealed in an interview with Vanity Fair Italy, that her career as a TV actress was the ultimate reason for their break up.
“I already know that if we get back together and in two months I mention a new job offer, we’ll be back to square one.’” The 35-year-old Argentine actress stated, claiming that Icardi did not like the idea of her working, and wanted her to focus on the family.
