Truck hauling nails crashes with semi on Highway 16

MERIDIAN, Idaho (KBOI) -- A truck hauling nails has crashed with a semi truck on Highway 16.

The Ada County Sheriff's Office says the crash occurred at Highway 16 and Chinden Boulevard. There's no word yet on possible injuries.

"There's a load of nails on the road," the sheriff's office said. "Clean up may take a while."

The sheriff's office says most of the nails have been removed from the road. No word yet on the cause of the crash.
